Garry Moïse
Garry Moïse is a multilingual management professional with many years of leadership experience in various organizational settings; particularly in Higher Education Administration.
With a mission to respond to the needs of individuals desiring to achieve intellectual, professional, and spiritual growth, Moïse is currently serving as a the director of the Upward Bound Math and Science Program at Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. In this role, he runs a federally-funded college & career readiness program that prepares local high school students for a college education.
Overall, Moïse is a strong advocate for educational services designed to assist students and young professionals. He is committed to accompany them in their journey to a productive and successful professional career.
In addition to his daily administrative roles, Moïse is an adjunct faculty in Marian University’s Business Department, currently teaching International Business. He often presents and conducts workshops at conferences for for students and professionals. Topics covered are often based on management, leadership, marketing, and communication concepts as they apply in various life settings.
He has served on the board of the following organizations:
- Wisconsin Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel (WAEOPP) (2015-2016 President and 2016-2017 Past-President)
- Educational Opportunity Association (EOA) (2015 and 2016)
- Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (YPF) 2014-2020
- Sophia Partners, fka Sophia Foundation (2018-present)
- Fond du Lac STEM Academy – (2019-present)
In addition to his administrative and professional commitments, he is involved in community initiatives such as the Drug Free Communities of Fond du Lac County.
He is also an avid participant in online forums on social, cultural, and political matters pertaining to his native Haiti. With regards to Haiti, he has the goal of serving as a career and leadership development coach for young Haitians, through various initiatives that will equip and empower them towards Haiti’s advancement.
As a Christian professional, Moïse is also committed to help others in their spiritual journey through his involvement in various religious initiatives. He frequently leads Bible studies and deliver sermons at his local church. He has been an ordained church Elder since 2012.
As a two-time graduate of Marian University of Wisconsin, Moïse holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in Marketing and General Management. Prior to Marian University, he obtained an Associate Degree in Quality Management from Fox Valley Technical College.
Moïse lives in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin with his wife, Claudia; and their three children: Phillip, Garrett, and Vivienne.
